Background and Education
I hold a degree in psychology from the University of Oslo and have additional training in cognitive therapy, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and trauma treatment. I am also a certified ICDP facilitator (parental guidance).

With many years of clinical experience, I have developed strong expertise in a wide range of mental health issues and life challenges, as well as experience in supervising other professionals, including those in child welfare services.

In the Therapy Room
As a therapist, I focus on meeting you as a unique individual and creating a safe space for exploration, learning, and growth. My core belief is that change happens through dialogue and a strong therapeutic relationship. I take an active approach to therapy, tailoring my methods to your specific needs, and I believe that humor and laughter are important elements in the therapeutic process.

Methodology
I take an eclectic approach, meaning I adapt my methods to the needs and challenges of each individual. My theoretical foundation is rooted in the psychodynamic tradition, but I also integrate elements from cognitive therapy, ACT, and trauma treatment.

I always work within ethical guidelines and am passionate about supporting clients in gaining deeper insight into themselves and their inner processes.
