I have experience with a wide range of mental health disorders. I am particularly focused on relational difficulties and challenges in understanding and expressing emotions. My approach is based on the idea that some feelings, thoughts, and inner states can be unclear to us, and we may need support to make sense of them. Get to know Ezgi
Background and Education
I hold a degree from the University of Oslo and have several years of experience in the specialist healthcare service for adults. During this time, I have assessed and treated individuals struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and other relational difficulties. I have also worked with couples and families.
Additionally, I have led psychoeducational groups on ADHD and mentalization-based therapy (MBT) and facilitated long-term therapy groups for individuals with personality disorders. I have further training in the trauma-specific method Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which I find to be an effective therapeutic approach.
